Position Overview

The Business Analyst Consultant is responsible for consulting, analyzing business requirements, and implementing SaaS-based solutions for clients. This role focuses on helping organizations adopt and effectively use software platforms such as ERP systems, Inventory Management systems (e.g., Inventree), and Travel Management platforms.

The consultant works closely with clients to understand their operational workflows and translate them into practical system configurations and implementation plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to understand their business processes, operational challenges, and digital transformation needs.
• Analyze current workflows and recommend appropriate solutions or system configurations.
• Provide consulting on process optimization using software platforms.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Provide consulting recommendations on system features, product roadmap, and business processes.
• Map client workflows into system workflows within platforms.
• Work closely with Developers to ensure accurate requirement implementation, customize system modules where applicable (workflow, permissions, data structure, etc.).
• Provide system training and onboarding sessions for client teams.
• Prepare user manuals, training materials, and documentation.
• Support clients during system adoption and go-live phases.
• Monitor implementation progress and ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Manage communication between clients and internal teams.
• Post-Implementation Support: Assist clients in troubleshooting system issues, gather feedback and propose system improvements, support system upgrades and new feature adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Economics, or related fields.
• 1–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ERP Consultant, or Software Consultant.
• Experience working on ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and business process modeling skills.
• Good understanding of SDLC and ERP implementation lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Agile/Scrum knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
