Job Overview

Aegona is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of our existing DevOps systems, assist with software deployment, and provide internal IT support.

This role is suitable for candidates with a basic DevOps foundation who are eager to gain hands-on experience and develop their technical skills in a professional environment.

Job Description

DevOps (70%)

  • Operate and maintain existing DevOps systems and infrastructure.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and software deployment.
  • Monitor systems and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support automation tasks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth system operations.

IT Support / Helpdesk (30%)

  • Provide IT support for employees, including hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with user accounts, access permissions, and IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot common IT problems and manage support requests.
  • Support daily IT operations and asset management.

Job Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of expecrience in DevOps / IT Support.
  • Basic understanding of Linux, Git, and CI/CD concepts.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and office IT environments.
  • Basic troubleshooting and user support skills.
  • Willingness to learn and operate existing DevOps systems.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate with technical teams.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
  • Familiarity with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with system monitoring or deployment processes.
  • Relevant IT or technical certifications.
